The sequel to a fan-favorite 2023 PS5 adventure game in a long-running series has been revealed, along with a release date window. The Talos Principle 3 is the next chapter in the award-winning puzzle-adventure franchise, and also its final one.

Developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital have announced that The Talos Principle 3 will serve as the “grand finale” in 2027. A specific release date will be announced later.
“As if awakening from a troubled sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of crumbling temples and abandoned science outposts: the Anomaly, the only place in the universe where the laws of physics don’t work as they should,” an official overview reads. “Your memories are fragmented, but you know you came here for a reason. Tasked with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you will relive your life as an explorer, and with it, the history of the world that humanity built.”

Although we’ve only seen a teaser, players are already expressing their excitement. Croteam didn’t say what’s next for the franchise after the finale.
