A hit 2023 Xbox console exclusive RPG has been given a release date for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. Developed by Metal Head Games, Back to the Dawn will be out on the remaining platforms this October. The game will skip a PS4 release despite being available on all other last-gen platforms.
Prison-escape-themed RPG Back to the Dawn finally gets a PS5 release date
Back to the Dawn first launched in early access on PC, followed by a full release on both PC and Xbox, where it garnered a positive response. The PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions will release on October 22.
“In this prison-escape-themed RPG, crime, conspiracy, and hidden traps intertwine, while the relationships between characters grow increasingly complex,” an official description reads. “Step into the role of an animal inmate, survive the harsh realities of prison life, explore, grow, and plan your escape. Stay sharp — fight to prove your innocence, uncover the schemes lurking behind rival factions, and battle not just for your own freedom, but for the future of the city itself.”
