A highly anticipated Aliens game is now available for PS5 on the PlayStation Store. The latest title comes from Daybreak Game Company and Cold Iron Studios, in association with 20th Century Games.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is finally out for PlayStation 5 owners and they can get it on the PlayStation Store. The third-person shooter is the sequel to 2021’s first entry, based on the long-running beloved Aliens movie franchise.
The latest installment offers a survival-based, action-packed campaign. It allows players to take on the roles of Colonial Marines, jump into squads of up to four, and fight massive hordes of deadly Xenomorphs.
What versions of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 are available?
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 comes in two versions, namely the Digital Standard Edition and the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition. They are available on the PlayStation Store for $49.99 and 69.99, respectively.
While the standard version offers only the base game, the premium version includes extra perks such as DLC and exclusive cosmetics. With the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition, players can get Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack alongside Herk’s Mondo Pest Pack.
Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack offers an exclusive cosmetic outfit themed after Ellen Ripley’s appearance at the end of Ridley Scott’s 1986 blockbuster movie, Aliens. All the player-created characters can equip this outfit in the game. The pack also enables players to wield Ripley’s modified pulse rifle.
As for Herk’s Mondo Pest Pack, it is inspired by the over-the-top comic-book hero. Players receive a wild outfit alongside an exclusive weapon, Herk Mondo’s massive, modified pulse rifle, and a host of decals and other elements.
Additionally, PS5 players can also bring the atmosphere of the acclaimed movie Alien: Romulus into Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, thanks to Rain’s Jackson’s Star Pack. It’s available for both game versions for $9.99. The pack offers a modified Cryo weapon, signature Colony outfit, and a full loadout of traits, perks, augments, decals, and colorways.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is now available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It will also come out on the Nintendo Switch 2 this fall.
