2025 PS5, PS4 Game Delisted From PS Store With Little Notice

We are just finishing the first month of 2026, and we already have PS5 and PS4 games getting delisted from the PlayStation Store. While not all of them are the most exciting games on the digital storefront, it is often done with little notice, like today’s delisting of an arcade game that was originally released in 2024 for PS5, and then brought to PS4 in 2025.

What PS5, PS4 game was delisted from the PS Store?

Amuzo Games and Tower Studios announced that they will be delisting their arcade soccer game, Sociable Soccer 25. Although a statement was made on Steam, it has been removed on PS4 and PS5. However, it is still available to purchase on Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms. Here’s the full statement:

“Sociable Soccer 25 has now reached the end of its lifecycle and will be removed from sale on Steam.

“We would like to thank our players for the passion and support you’ve shown throughout its journey. For existing owners, please be assured that the game’s servers will remain online for the time being, allowing you to continue to enjoy all features and game modes of Sociable Soccer 25. Should this change in the future, we will provide clear advance notice.

“This marks an exciting transition for the franchise as we move into a new era with Sociable Soccer Champions, where the future of fast, accessible arcade football continues. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning players there.

“Thank you for being part of the Sociable Soccer community.”

This is just one of a couple of PS4 and PS5 delistings announced this month. Another includes the Amazon Game Studios MMORPG New World: Aeternum. Like Sociable Soccer 25, the game is not available to purchase, but can still be played online. Servers will stay on for the MMO until January 31, 2027.
