A popular, fan-favorite PS1 adventure game’s remake is headed to PS5, as its trophy list has leaked online. Cyan’s Riven received the remake treatment on PC back in 2024, but PS5 players had to settle for a PS1 classic re-release rather than a remake. That’s set to change now.

A trophy list for Riven remake appeared on both Exophase and PocketPSN. Both websites scrape the PSN backend for information that’s not public yet, and the existence of these trophies suggests that Riven’s PS5 release date is imminent.
We compared the leaked list with the PS1 classic’s trophy list, and there are a few differences, but those who’ve played the game before won’t struggle to pop the new Platinum trophy.
Riven’s 2024 remake received positive reviews and currently boasts a “very positive” fan rating based on over 2,000 votes.
“Experience Riven like never before – with free movement through a real-time 3D environment,” an official overview reads. “This brand-new, re-imagined, and expanded version of Riven offers a deeper story, new captivating visuals, and a journey that stays true to the original release while also expanding on Riven’s breathtaking world.”
