The month of February has been big for gamers, but this week in particular is pretty special. Between the release of Resident Evil Requiem and the beginning of Marathon’s server slam, there are plenty of games to keep PlayStation fans excited. That includes PS5’s Tales of Berseria Remastered, an enhanced version of the fan-favorite RPG that was originally released on the PS4.
What is Tales of Berseria Remastered?
Originally developed and published by Bandai Namco, Tales of Berseria Remastered is the 16th main entry in the long-running Tales series, and serves as a prequel to Tales of Zestiria. In the JRPG, players will experience Velvet’s journey with several new enhancements, including increased default movement speed, a “new objective” indicator, auto-save functionality, and other accessibility features. Like many remasters, it also targets 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
Here is a brief description and trailer, giving players an idea of what to expect from Tales of Berseria:
“Engage in the ultimate quest for self-discovery, remastered for the first time. The sacred kingdom awaits the arrival of its savior, and a lone woman named Velvet is marked by traumatic deceit. Join Velvet on her journey for vengeance, along with her cast of eccentric companions, as they sail through the archipelago which comprises the kingdom of Midgand.”
There are two editions of Tales of Berseria Remastered available on the PlayStation Store. The Standard Edition costs $39.99 and only includes the base game. The Deluxe Edition costs $59.99 and includes some extra goodies. Here is everything included in the Deluxe Edition:
– Base game
