A beloved adventure game for the PS3 and PS4 is coming back on the PS5, with a new remake confirmed for the game.
What PS3/PS4 game is getting a remake?
In a recent announcement on the future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, one of the most beloved entries in the game’s history, wiill be getting a remake. The new game, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, wasn’t talked about much in Ubisoft’s announcement, but they did share a new piece of concept art for the remake.
The new piece of art shows off Edward Kenway as he stands on top of a ship, but it doesn’t give away too much else. No information on when the game might be expected or just what the remaster will include was teased, but news of it was enough to get fans excited.

News of an Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag remake has been rumored for some time now. Last year, the game’s official title leaked online via a European ratings board listing. The game was also briefly talked about via other leaks, but now looks to be an official project that Ubisoft is working on.
While nothing about the game is known yet, we do have an idea of what to expect if previous reports are true. Leaks last year suggested that Black Flag: Resynced would be a huge remake and include not only visual upgrades, but gameplay ones that would bring the game in-line with something like the more recent Assassin’s Creed titles.
Rumors suggest that not only will new story content be added, but that some previous sections from the game have been removed in the new game. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see more of the game before we know for sure.
