As the second quarter of 2026 marches on, the PlayStation Store continues to bring the best new PS5 and PS4 releases to PlayStation players. That includes Konami’s latest, Darwin’s Paradox!, which is available to purchase on the PS Store today.
What is Darwin’s Paradox!?
Developed by ZDT Studio and published by Konami, Darwin’s Paradox is an action game where players become Darwin, an octopus who is mysteriously pulled from his aquatic home, and attempts to get back to the sea. Along the way, he will face dangerous creatures as he uncovers “a conspiracy that goes beyond anything one could have imagined.”

Darwin’s Paradox! is available to purchase now for the PS5 on the PS Store for $24.99. For players who are unsure if they want to grab the game, there is the free Tactical Octopus Action demo, which references Konami’s fan-favorite franchise, Metal Gear Solid.
Upon its release, Darwin’s Paradox has received solid reviews from critics. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 75 based on 19 critics.
