The highly anticipated PS5 remake of a fan-favorite 2006 PSP RPG has finally received a release date, and it’s out in 2026. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, which was also later launched on the PS3 and PS Vita, will release on September 17, 2026.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will get a disc and digital release in the West. The game’s PS Store page is already live.
“In this second installment of the beloved Trails series, Estelle’s search for Joshua takes her deeper into a continental conspiracy as she confronts the Enforcers of Ouroboros across the Liberl Kingdom and beyond,” say GungHo Online Entertainment and Falcom.

- Cassandra Lee Morris as Anelace Elfead
- Ray Chase as Kevin Graham
- Patrick Seitz as Mueller Vander
- Gabriella Certo as Julia Schwarz
- Stephen Fu as Leonhardt
- Liam O’Brien as Georg Weissmann
- Courtney Lin as Renne
New features include additional combat options and “expansive” side content.
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter follows the successful release of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter — a remake of Nihon Falcom’s 2004 RPG.
