Developer GrimTalin and Darkania Works’ The Crimson Maid officially has a demo out now on PS5. Players can download it on the PS Store, and you won’t need PlayStation Plus of any kind to do so. The new demo sees players tasked with solving various puzzles while uncovering a murder mystery.
The Crimson Maid is set to release on July 14, 2026. The game follows the story of Marius looking to reconnect with his family when he’s thrust into a mystery that will unravel the secrets of his family.
“A marriage between first person exploration and visual novel, blessed with a sprinkle of puzzle gameplay. Immerse yourself in a period drama that intertwines romance with murder mystery, as a young cleric who must resist or give in to the charms of a strikingly beautiful maid,” reads the game’s official description.
