A popular PS5 action game that was added to PS Plus Extra in April 2026 has mysteriously disappeared from the catalog. Squirrel With a Gun was removed from the catalog sometime over the past day or two, but the game isn’t officially scheduled to leave the service.

Subscribers who previously downloaded Squirrel With a Gun from the catalog can still access the game. However, new players are asked to make a purchase, and there’s no option to redeem it from the catalog.
Squirrel With a Gun’s PS Store page is also currently missing the PS Plus tag.
We haven’t seen this in a while, but this removal is likely temporary and caused by a long-running PS Store glitch. There have been several instances in the past of games disappearing from the catalog following an SKU update, only to return later.
There have been rare occasions where Sony pulled some games entirely rather than returning them to the catalog, but we don’t think that’ll be the case here, as Squirrel With a Gun was only added four months ago.
We’ll update our readers if/when the game returns to PS Plus.
