PS Store users are warned that 2025 PS5 and PS4 versions of beloved Disney classics might be delisted soon. As we mentioned yesterday, Disney Pixar Toy Story 2 and 3 are both being re-released this October, and we expect the emulated versions to be delisted from the PS Store ahead of their release, as is usually the case.
2025 PS5, PS4 versions of Disney classics Toy Story 2 & 3 already scheduled to be removed from PS Plus
Toy Story 2 and 3 are currently part of the PS Plus Premium classics catalog and are also available to purchase separately on the PS Store. Sony has already confirmed that the pair will be removed from PS Plus. It’s rare for Premium classics to be removed from the service, but this particular removal makes sense.
Toy Story 2 will be re-released as part of Toy Story: Retro Roundup! According to Disney, the package is a “definitive collection of games based on the film franchise, including Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999), Toy Story 2 (1999), Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000), and Toy Story Racer (2001), along with a bonus game — A Bug’s Life (1998).”
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition will be released separately. Both titles will be out on October 15.
