What makes each new Gran Turismo 7 car stand out
Speaking of the new cars in Gran Turismo 7 update 1.71, the first one is the ’97 Toyota Chaser Tourer V, which can be purchased from Used Cars and belongs to the Street Icon category. Its uniqueness lies in its stance and silhouette that give it a natural presence, while its roots in tuner culture and the world of drifting give this Toyota a ton of street cred.
The next car is the ’97 Toyota Mark II Tourer V. It can also be purchased from Used Cars and is part of the Sleeper Pick category. According to the official blog, “Mark II carries quiet confidence. It may not demand attention immediately, but it connects with players who enjoy discovering something a little deeper.”
The third new car in the list is the ’08 Caterham Seven Superlight R500. It can be bought from Brand Central and is part of the Pure Driver category. This sports car provides one of the most direct driving experiences in GT7. Simply because it’s lightweight and responsive and “puts every input in your hands with no distractions. It is less about power and more about precision, making every corner and braking moment feel earned.”
The fourth new car in Gran Turismo 7 update 1.71 is the ’25 Hyundai IONIQ 6 N, and is also purchasable from Brand Central and belongs to the Next Gen Performance category. The car brings a modern edge, letting players experience something unique from traditional expectations. According to the official description, “It feels fresh, responsive, and part of a new chapter in driving.”
