Japan’s Media Create Sales get Rhythmic, Heavenly

August 24, 2011Written by Heath Hindman

Japanese sales measurement super group Media Create has sent out its weekly sales rankings. For the first time in a long while, and probably the last time until Dragon Quest X comes out, a Wii game has claimed the top spot. Well, I say this even though all signs point to a Wii U transition for that game. Heck, when was the last time we even heard anything about DQX anyway? I’ll shut up and post those rankings:

01. [WII] Rhythm Heaven

02. [PSP] Monster Hunter Diary: Pokapoka Felyne G

03. [DS] Kirby Mass Attack

04. [PS3] Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2

05. [3DS] Pokemon Rumble Blast

06. [PSP] Growlanser IV: Over Reloaded

07. [3DS] The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

08. [WII] Wii Sports Resort with Remote Plus

09. [PSP] J-League Pro Soccer Club! 7: Euro +

10. [PSP] Toriko: Gourmet Survival

11. [PSP] Uta no Prince-Sama: Repeat

12. [PSP] Taiko Drum Master Portable DX

13. [PSP] Amnesia

14. [3DS] Nintendogs + Cats: French Bulldog / Shiba / Toy Poodle & Nw Friends

15. [PSP] Bunmei Haruka: Aoiza Ibunroku

16. [WII] Epic Mickey

17. [DS] All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation

18. [PSP] Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2011

19. [WII] Inazuma Eleven Strikers

20. [NDS] Pokemon Black / White

I love my PSP but can not do those Taiko Drum Master games on it. I need drum sticks, man. Who are the people buying that version in 12th place? Get a DS, Wii, PS2, or go to the arcades, guys! To each his own, I suppose.
