Michael Bay Directed Need For Speed: The Run Trailer Released

In an effort to gain some attention for Need for Speed: The Run and to attract some more Facebook likes, EA promised to unleash a new NFS trailer from the famed director Michael Bay after they got enough Facebook likes. That threshold has now been crossed, and a new trailer has been released.

EA probably spent a fair bit of money to get the big name director, who has directed the blockbuster Transformer series, the award winning The Rock, and Pearl Harbor, so let’s just hope he didn’t rehash any scenes, again:

We enjoyed NFS when we played it at E3 earlier this year, and were especially pleased to see the racer use the Frostbite 2.0 engine that was used in Battlefield 3, but were hoping to see more from the out of car scenes.

Need for Speed: The Run releases on November 15th in the US and 18th in Europe. Did this trailer tempt you to pick it up when it comes out in just over a week? Let us know in the comments below.
