Silent Hill: Book of Memories Delayed

The upcoming PlayStation Vita installment of the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill: Book of Memories, has been delayed.

Originally scheduled for release tomorrow, Joystiq reports that both Amazon and Gamefly have changed their listings for Silent Hill: Book of Memories‘ release date from March 27th to May 31st. The May 31st date is likely a placeholder, as the date falls on a Thursday, whereas most games in North America are released on Tuesdays.

Konami confirmed the delay in a statement to RipTen:

Unfortunately Book of Memories has been delayed. Stay tuned for a more formal announcement.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories was delayed once before, as the title had originally been scheduled to release during the PlayStation Vita’s launch window in February. The delay had been made to coincide Book of Memories‘ release with the launch of home console title Silent Hill: Downpour.
