MGS HD Collection for Vita Coming This June

Konami has just announced that the high definition Metal Gear Solid compilation port for the Vita will be available in stores starting “late June.”

While this upcoming handheld version of the HD collection won’t include the hit PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the game will serve as the first title to make use of Kojima’s transfarring system, which allows gamers to transfer their game content between the PS3 and PS Vita.

The Vita version of the MGS HD Collection will include both Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 as well as the two old school original 8-bit Metal Gear classics. If for whatever reason you missed out on these titles when they first launched, or just want to be able to relive all of the memorable moments on the go, you’ve only got a couple of months of waiting left.

Now, if only Kojima could reveal Metal Gear Solid 5 at E3, my summer would be complete.
