Sony has just announced that their gamescom press conference will be held on Tuesday, August 14th at 7:00 pm.
The conference itself is set to run from August 15-19, so Sony’s briefing will hopefully kick of Germany’s show in a very big way. With rumors regarding a super-slim PS3 circulating the web, many of us here at PlayStation LifeStyle are expecting SCEE to reveal the hardware model at that time. After all, it was at this very same venue that Sony unveiled their first PS3 redesign three years ago.
With so many gamers down on the Vita’s lack of software, one can only hope that Sony will be pushing the handheld during their conference as well. Will we finally get to see Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified in action? Your guess is as good as ours, but Sony better have something up their sleeve besides more PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale characters to reveal.
