Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Confirmed for Launch on PS3 and Xbox 360

When Spark Unlimited’s Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z was first announced, there was reason to believe it may be coming to next-gen consoles. Now that is no longer the case.

The game was initially said to be coming to unspecified consoles, but it appears that they weren’t being ambiguous for the sake of next-generation hardware. Several job listings at Spark Unlimited indicate that Ninja Gaiden Z will be coming to both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The game is described as being “a bold new take on 3rd Person slasher with Horror elements for the PS3 and Xbox 360,” according to the job posts.

There’s still no word on when the game will launch, but considering the fact that the next-generation is right around the corner, one would think Yaiba would be here by 2013’s end or early 2014 at the very latest.
