Konami Teases Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Becoming Playable on PS Vita “in the Near Future”

Out of all the PSP games you can currently play on your PlayStation Vita, one glaring omission is that of Metal Gear Solid: Peace WalkerEven though the PlayStation 3 version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection included Peace Walker, the PlayStation Vita HD Collection just had Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.

When asked in the comments section of the PS Blog about whether or not we may see MGS: Portable Ops or MGS: Peace Walker playable on the PlayStation Vita, Dalton Link, Social Media Manager at Konami, said this:

You may see MSF infiltrate the Vita in the near future. Stay tuned!

For those who may not know, MSF stands for Militaires Sans Frontières, which translates to Soldiers Without Borders, a private military company founded by Big Boss. With them being featured heavily in Peace Walker, that comment seems to point towards the game (maybe in HD?) being Vita compatible in the near future and available directly on the PS Vita Store (as opposed to the current way of transferring it from your PS3). Then, hopefully, Portable Ops will follow it.
