New Borderlands 2 Hot Fix Available Now, Thermitage is now Friendlier

It looks like Gearbox is a fan of hot fixes, as their second in 7 days is now available to get on your PlayStation 3. As opposed to a standard patch that requires you to download a permanent file, the hot fix automatically updates once you get to the start menu and is saved in the system memory while you play Borderlands 2, provided you are connected to the internet.

Check out all the changes below:

  • Commando’s Rifleman, Gunner and Shock Trooper class mods now correctly increase kill skill bonuses.
  • Increased Shock Spike shield damage by addressing issue where it was not being calculated properly.
  • Clients are now able to see explosions caused by Norfleets in multiplayer.
  • Thermitage (Sir Hammerlock DLC) is now friendlier and will no longer refuse to come play with some players.
