After a very disappointing launch in the UK, Gran Turismo 6 had a much better debut in Japan, with a first place finish and over 200,000 sales to its name.
Looking at hardware, the 3DS XL (LL in Japan) was #1 yet again, while the Wii U shot up to 2nd, likely thanks to Dragon Quest X. The PlayStation Vita and PS3 both rose quite well, but the PlayStation Vita TV dropped yet again, ending up with under 3,800 in sales.
