EA One of the Best Places to Work for LGBT Community, Says Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign has decided to name EA one of the best places to work for the LGBT community for the third year in a row.

HRC gave EA the top score of 100 on  its corporate equality index, putting it next to 365 other companies that earned that score this year. A 100 means EA met requirements for “partner benefits, organizational competency on LGBT issues, a public commitment to the equality for the broader community, as well as equal employee benefits.”

Over the years, EA has expanded its involvement in a number of LGBT events, including parades and conferences all over the world. EA won the 11th Annual International Innovations in Diversity Award from Diversity Journal in August after the company created programs to increase the diversity of its workforce.

What do you think of EA’s involvement in the LGBT community? Were you surprised by this at all?
