Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC Might Not Go to Xbox One First

The Xbox One might not be getting Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC before the PlayStation 4 or PC, which would break a long trend of Xbox consoles receiving CoD content before other systems due to a deal Microsoft had with Activision.

On the UK Xbox One website, a string of images show which big-name games are coming out in the next several months. The images indicate which games are going to be Xbox-exclusives, and which games are going to have timed content going to Xbox consoles first. Check the image below to see some examples:

When looking at the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 image, however, it doesn’t appear to have a “Content First” logo next to it, indicating that the Xbox One might not be getting DLC for the game before other systems. However, it should be noted that Rise of the Tomb Raider doesn’t have a logo next to it either, despite being a known Xbox timed exclusive.

Both Activision and Microsoft have remained silent on the issue, but hopefully more information will be released soon. In the meantime, let us know what you make of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 image not having a “Content First” logo.
