Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut Gets a New Trailer, Name Change

Previously announced as Wasteland 2 Game of the Year Edition, inXile Entertainment has renamed their upcoming game to Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut, while also releasing a new E3 2015 trailer to highlight the gameplay and more.

A hardcore RPG where you take control of a squad of four Desert Rangers, as well as any followers you pick up along the way, and try to keep the peace in the post-apocalyptic Arizona desert, here’s what to expect from this new version of the game:

Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut is the enhanced and updated version of the award-winning Wasteland 2. Running on Unity 5 and featuring updated graphics, the Director’s Cut also adds Perks & Quirks for enhanced character depth, Precision Strikes for additional combat tactics, redesigned combat encounters, expanded voice-over with more than 8,000 new recorded dialog lines, a redesigned user interface, controller support, and more.

Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut launches in Summer 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while PC owners get it as a free update.
