Apologizing for not delivering any major Dynasty Warriors news in 2015, Koei Tecmo has said that it’s preparing to make a “big” announcement this year. A New Year’s message by producer Akihiro Suzuki (translation courtesy of Gematsu) states:
Last year, we welcomed the 15th anniversary of the Dynasty Warriors series, and we were not able to deliver the news fans were expecting. For that, we are very sorry. This year, we’re preparing to be able to make a big announcement, so please look forward to it.
We’re not told when to expect the announcement, but we’ll make sure to update our readers when we have more information.
