Sony Promises PlayStation Plus Membership Extension Following Yesterday’s PSN Downtime

With the PlayStation Network experiencing issues for approximately 11 hours yesterday, Sony has thanked users for their patience, while also promising to extend PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now memberships:

Full details weren’t given on the extensions, so stay tuned for more news once it’s available.

Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida also spoke about the PSN downtime, apologizing to everyone for the inconvenience:

The January 2016 PlayStation Plus free games, which include Hardware: Rivals, Grim Fandango Remastered, Dragon Age: Origins, and Medal of Honor: Warfighter, are now live in Europe. North America will be getting them later today.
