Lichdom: Battlemage Release Date on PS4 & Xbox One Delayed to April 19

March 3, 2016Written by Jason Dunning

Previously expected to arrive later this month, Lichdom: Battlemage for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is now releasing on April 19 in North America, Maximum Games announced today.

A first-person spell-casting game, Lichdom: Battlemage was delayed so the developers can offer a better experience at launch:

We’re incredibly proud of what we’re making, but unfortunately, in order to ensure a more synchronized worldwide release, we need to delay the launch of the game by about a month — from March 22 to April 19, 2016.

We know the news may be disappointing, but we’re confident in the game, and the extra time will allow more players to have an even better experience.

If you live in Europe, they said, “Similar to our most recent game launch, Alekhine’s Gun, the time between our US launch and our launch in other territories may not line up perfectly.”

What do you think of the delay to Lichdom: Battlemage?
