In the European PlayStation Blog’s latest PlayStation Store update post, they revealed that PS2 game Max Payne is coming to PS4 on Friday, April 22, in Europe. A North American release date wasn’t given, but past PS2 games on PS4 have released around the same time in both regions.

Since this is the second time the EU Blog has listed Max Payne for PS4, someone asked if this time it was real. Sony’s Francesca Mead replied, “It’s on its way :).”

Also, if a trademark listing by Sony through the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is any indication, Kinetica, Sony Santa Monica’s 2001 PS2 racing game, will be coming to PS4 in the future.

Meanwhile, WayForward confirmed that Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is releasing in Europe on April 20, complete with a 25% PlayStation Plus discount. North American PS4 owners can pick up Shantae as of today.
