According to players, the recently released update 1.06 for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on PlayStation 4 fixes the frame-pacing issues that appeared following the launch of update 1.05 in early November.
Mentioning that the frame-pacing issues were found on the standard PS4, as well as the 4K and Enriched Visuals modes on PS4 Pro, NeoGAF user black070 says, “Playing right now and the difference is noticeable.”
There aren’t any official patch notes up yet, but the PS4’s Update History says Rise of the Tomb Raider update 1.06 “improved frame rate stability” and included “some minor bugfixes.”
If you’re looking to buy Rise of the Tomb Raider, it’s currently $29.99 USD on the PlayStation Store as part of the Holiday Sale.

BioWare seems to be putting in a lot of new tweaks, and at the same time, improving on every facet of the trilogy imaginable. This one won't just compete for Best RPG of 2017, but could very well be in the running as the Game of the Year of 2017.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Rumor after rumor, report after report. Red Dead Redemption 2's announcement was surprising and not-so-surprising at the same time. Given the success of its predecessor, it's fair to say that a lot of us are looking forward to Rockstar's next Wild West adventure.
