Japanese Sales Chart: Tekken 7 Debuts in 1st, Sells Nearly 59,000 Copies

Tekken 7 for PlayStation 4 debuted at #1 in Japan last week, moving more than 58,000 copies. For comparison, Tekken 6 saw first week sales of 120,000 on PS3, while Tekken Tag Tournament 2 launched with nearly 69,000 copies sold on PS3.

Although Tekken 7 helped PS4 console sales rise to more than 15,800, the Nintendo Switch remained in first place last week, selling 23,500 units.

According to Media Create, here’s the 20 best-selling retail games, along with how each system sold in Japan from May 29 to June 4, 2017:
