Bandai Namco Releases New Code Vein Trailer, Says the Game Won’t Have Difficulty Settings

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for its upcoming action RPG, Code Vein, which you can check out above. The video comes with the following description:

Who is the queen? What is the Red Mist? Why do the Revenant continue to fight and feed? Important questions that need answers. Discover the truth for yourself, when CODE VEIN launches in early 2018!

In addition to the above, the company announced during Tokyo Game Show 2017 that the game will feature songs from Japanese duo Vamps’ Underworld album.

GameSpot reports that during a roundtable interview at the event, Bandai Namco revealed that Code Vein won’t include any difficulty settings as the game is meant to be challenging. However, players will be able to change their character’s Blood Code, which will allow them to adjust stats to deal with different situations accordingly. We’ll also have optional companions that’ll help during exploration and battles, and the previously revealed Gift System that’ll temporarily increase attack or defense actions.
