Atlus and the Shin Megami Tensei set of games are widely popular around the world for their deep story lines and strong roots to the Japanese culture. The Shin Megami Tensei set of games is also widely known for the PlayStation 2 console, with their latest addition to the series showing up on the console just last year. Atlus has yet to bring the series to the next generation, though with all the recent rumors it looks like that won’t be the case much longer.
Last year their were a couple of rumors that surfaced concerning Persona 5 and the PlayStation 3 and now a listing on Amazon.co.jp shows a game simply called “Shin Megami Tensei (working title) listed for the PS3. No telling just yet if this is listed as an error by Amazon or if Atlus is really cooking up something on the big black machine. One thing is known for sure, if its Atlus at the helm, we can be sure of an amazing story, great characters and a killer soundtrack.
