Gran Turismo 5 Makes Surpising Split Second ‘Move’

Polyphony Digital’s long awaited racing sim Gran Turismo 5 is finally approaching the finish line. However, it seems development took an unexpected turn somewhere along the track, as the game will be compatible with the upcoming PS3 motion controller, the PlayStation Move.

According to the official US PlayStation website under the ‘featured games’ listed under PlayStation Move, Gran Turismo 5 is to be compatible with the new device. That’s not all, Disney’s own racer, Split Second has also been listed as a ‘featured game’.

PlayStation Move was just revealed this past week at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco and along with it, a list of games. Among those games was ModNation Racers, yet another Sony racer. So it’s no surprise that the PlayStation Move would be compatible with other racing games.

Look for many more PlayStation Move games, from the 36 and counting publishers supporting the device, to be revealed throughout the year leading up to it’s Fall launch.
