Bayonetta Game Director Teases New Info

Bayonetta hasn’t even been on the market for a year now, but new information, possibly pertaining to a sequel, has made its way onto the internet. These murmurs stem from a tweet made by the game’s director, Yusuke Hashimoto, earlier today.

Hashimoto posted the following mysterious tweet, on his official twitter feed (translated by andriasang):

“Good morning. It looks like we’ll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta this week. Look forward to it.”

No specific details were given, except the very broad time frame of “this week”. Hopefully the eventual reveal won’t prove to be a disappointment like so many of these teases end up to be. Bayonetta was met with critical acclaim and moderate commercial success, when the game hit the gaming world, earlier this year. Meshing components of popular franchises such as Devil May Cry and and Ninja Gaiden, players took control of a badass girl named Bayonetta, who is on a mission to regain her lost memories. Fans of the original have been eagerly awaiting an announcement regarding a sequel.
