While Gran Turismo 5 is one of the most realistic racing simulators of all-time, there’s no getting around the fact that a Dualshock 3 is nothing like being behind the wheel. For that reason alone, many racing fans have been willing to dish out hundreds of dollars to reproduce the thrill of being in some of the most exotic cars known to man.
Kazunori Yamauchi, the man responsible for one of my the best series of all time, Gran Turismo, has been tweeting vigorously about a new wheel peripheral that is in development. In several of his tweets, he has shared that the pedal will be pricey, but will offer an unparalleled experience when combined with a racing title such as GT5.
Well, thanks to the power of the internet, images of the upcoming wheel have been revealed, and it’s official that the name for the product is the Thrustmaster T500RS. With a clutch, a reversible pedal mount, high-quality force feedback, and some killer looks, this heavy duty peripheral coupled with Gran Turismo 5 should prove to be nothing short of incredible.
