LittleBigPlanet was launched as an ambitious platformer creator, whereas the upcoming LittleBigPlanet 2 is being touted as a platform for games. Now, it seems, the game can also claim it is a platform for Operating Systems as well.
The video below really speaks for itself, but essentially a few creative geniuses have re-created a good portion of Windows XP, complete with a start menu, a working mouse cursor, multiplayer support, included games built-in, and even proper login and logout sound effects. All of this was also created in the beta, which can make one wonder just what will be possible in the full game.
LittleBigPlanet 2 is set to release on January 18, 19, 20 and 21 in North America, Europe, Australia, and the UK, respectively.
