Kevin Butler Teaches Trash Talking 101 with MLB 11: The Show

Playing a multiplayer game without talking trash to your opponents is like going to a baseball park without tailgating – you can do it, but it’s nowhere near as fun. Good Mr. Butler seems to think the same, and wants you to up the ante by making sure your trash talk is quality work.

Kevin Butler’s new S.H.A.F.T. method for trash talking comes at us as a result of the arrival of MLB 11: The Show, which just released earlier this month. The acronym stands for Specific, Hurtful, Accents, Frequency, and Tijuana. If you don’t know what Tijuana has to do with talking smack on your foes, then prepare to learn from the master of SHAFT.

MLB 11: The Show has received good ratings so far, especially with respect to it’s upgrade to full analog support. It also utilizes the PlayStation Move for those of you with just enough motivation to stand in front of the couch. Now that you’re equipped with the new SHAFT trash talking strategy, it’s time to go grab a copy of the latest baseball title and make your friends cry for mommy.
