After teasing us for over a month, the countdown on Namco Bandai’s site has ended. While there isn’t much there yet, what is there is huge.

With the recent announcement of Soul Calibur V in Dubai, it was assumed that the a web presence wouldn’t be far behind; those assumptions were right. Today, Namco Bandai has opened the official site for Soul Calibur V. With very little other on the site than a trailer, at this point all it needs is more Facebook likes to reveal more images

The link from the site to their Facebook page gives not only a glimpse at Seigfried, but also our first glance at Patroklos–Sophita’s son. As the hours pass, expect more news to filter out on Soul Calibur V. Between this and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Namco Bandai isn’t letting Capcom completely steal the fighting game spotlight.
