Namco Bandai has confirmed that Katamari Damacy – which is a working title – will be releasing for the PlayStation Vita. Everyone’s favorite rolling ball of junk will use both the front touch screen and the rear touch pad of the PS Vita, offering a whole new kind of Katamari experience to gamers on the go.
In the debut trailer. we see some of the new touch controls, as players are able to stretch their balls (What!?) horizontally and vertically to pick up objects or to make it through extremely narrow gaps. The game follows a familiar plot line as yet again the King of All Cosmos has enlisted the Prince to help roll up balls of junk.
