Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD PSN Release Date, No Move or 3D Support At Launch

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was one of the most sought-after Xbox exclusive sleeper hits in the console’s library. Now, the anticipated HD remake featuring the toughest bounty hunter in all of Oddworld has a concrete release date for PlayStation Network…and it’s sooner than you think.

PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to get their hands on Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD on December 27th. The game will be releasing worldwide in all territories, except for the Far East/Russia/Ukraine and Portugal at this time. The title will cost $14.99.

Just Add Water revealed that, unfortunately, PlayStation Move and stereoscopic 3D support weren’t able to be integrated into the game prior to release. However, those features will be added in an update coming in “a couple months’ time” and some undisclosed “little extras” the developer has planned for the game will eventually be added as well.

Finally, for all of the completionists out there, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD does have a Platinum Trophy.
