Fans of classic extraterrestrial horror movie franchise Alien have long been awaiting SEGA and Gearbox’s FPS title based on Aliens, Aliens: Colonial Marines. If a new image is to be believed, the game won’t be the only kind of fan service offered for those fans, as it appears to have an impressive Collector’s Edition.
Gamekyo has obtained an image of Aliens: Colonial Marines‘ Collector’s Edition, which has quite a number of cool items in it. The CE comes in a Limited Edition display box that contains:
- A highly detailed resin display model of the exosuit cargo loader that Ripley used to battle the Queen at the end of Aliens.
- A Limited Edition “wrap-around” display.
- A “USCM Dossier,” claiming to be “essential briefing notes on the xenomorph infestation.” The Dossier includes Lost Episode storyboards, Sephora schematics, a mission brief, certificate of graduation, satellite photograph, and USCM fabric patches.
- Exclusive in-game content, which includes “legendary” weapons for multiplayer (M240 Flamethrower, M577 A2 Smart Gun, M41A Pulse Rifle Upgrade) and a new game mode (USCM Academy Firing Range).
- A copy of Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is scheduled to release on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in Spring 2012. A Wii U version is also in development.
