PlayStation Vita Firmware Update v1.52 Released

Over a month ahead of its release in the West, the PlayStation Vita has received its second firmware update, going from version 1.51 to version 1.52.

Sony didn’t specify what was in the small update, but Twitter users claim it fixes a v1.51 bug where 3G systems would not recognize SIM cards, according to Andriasang.

While it was certainly annoying to see the Vita release in Asia months before the rest of the world, the advantage is that the half a million gamers in the east are essentially acting as beta testers ahead of the worldwide launch.
