The PlayStation Vita has a long list of great features in its hardware and software, but almost as long is the list of things gamers are yet craving for the machine. Sony’s European PS Blog addressed one of the bigger issues via Twitter today, saying:
Downloaded PS one Classics will be compatible with PS Vita soon after launch.
While the addition of PSOne compatibility was widely expected, official confirmation does at least come as some relief for those wanting to maintain the ability to enjoy their already-owned downloaded content in addition to their new Vita games without having to carry around both a PSP and a PSV.
The only question now would be regarding the definition of “soon.” We’ll post more news whenever that ends up being.
