Power-Ups Detailed In New Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc HD Video, Update on Improvements

Ubisoft has released a new video detailing the power-ups available in PSN and XBLA platformer, Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc HD.

The trailer shows in-game footage, the game’s power-ups, and what abilities they grant Rayman in the game. The first power-up is the green Vortex gloves, which allow Rayman to shoot “mini-twisters” to attack enemies and land on for platforming purposes. Next are the red, spiked Heavy Metal Fist gloves. They grant Rayman a super punch ability that lets him blast through doors. Next are the metallic Lockjaw gloves, which give Rayman a grappling hook to swing from and a bite attack. Next is the Throttle Copter helmet, which allows Rayman to fly via a propeller that comes out of the top of it. Also, while using the Throttle Copter helmet, Rayman can fly higher via beams of light that propel him upwards. Last is the Shock Rocket gun, which allows Rayman to fire guided missiles. The trailer closes with the game’s logo and release date.

Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc HD has 15-20 hours of gameplay, nine stand-alone mini-games, achievements, and worldwide online leaderboards. The game also has been updated to run at 60 frames per second and the game is said to have improved audio quality as well.

The team responsible for Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc HD also handled Beyond Good & Evil HD.
