Crazy Taxi: World Tour shows off the West Coast in a new trailer, reveals closed network test
Sega is back with more Crazy Taxi in the form of the highly anticipated Crazy Taxi: World Tour. The game got a new trailer today, highlighting the game’s new West Coast map location. From sandy beaches to the hilltops that make up certain locations in the West Coast, the new map will have tons of amazing places to explore in the game.

Alongside the new trailer, Sega also announced a Multiplayer Closed Network Test was coming up. The test will take place from September 11-13, 2026. Applications to participate in the test are open now until August 31, 2026, with selected players being some of the first in the world to check out the new game. Players looking to sign up for the test can do so now on the dedicated site for it.
According to Sega, the text will players to check out some of the multiplayer action in the game. This includes the Pickup Race and Cops ‘N’ Cabbies modes. These modes include:
- In Pickup Race, up to 6 players will compete with each other to drop off as many passengers as possible within a set time limit, earning as much crazy money as possible.
- In Cops ‘N’ Cabbies, players will be split into two, 3-person teams competing against each other
- Players will be able to race across 2 maps and choose between 4 characters and 6 cars with various tune-up options.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is set to release sometime in 2027.
