THQ has announced a Collector’s Edition for Darksiders II and a free Limited Edition upgrade for existing pre-orders.
The Limited Edition pre-order upgrade applies to all versions of the game releasing this June (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC). The LE includes a voucher with a code to download the game’s first single-player DLC, Argul’s Tomb, for free.
The Collector’s Edition of the game will retail for “around $99 USD” and contain the Limited Edition, a life-sized replica Death Mask with display stand, a unique Shadow of Death armor and scythe with enhanced stats, a digital copy of the Darksiders II soundtrack, and a hardcover art book.
The console version of the Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered in the US and Canada at Gamestop, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Walmart.com, EB Games, the THQ.com store and “other select retailers.” The PC version’s CE will be available exclusively from THQ.com’s online store.
