New MOH: Warfighter Screens Released, Danger Close Talks Frostbite 2.0

Just yesterday, the debut trailer for EA’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter leaked out on the web, generating a lot of excitement from fans. Developer Danger Close has since come forward to talk about Warfighter, shedding some light on how they plan to approach this latest entry in the series.

Executive Producer Greg Goodrich assured Joystiq in a recent interview that just because the team is working with the same engine that powered Battlefield 3, Warfighter will look and feel like a completely unique experience.

I don’t think the engine dictates on what it’s gonna look like. We have a wonderful art director who has a very clear vision of the type of lens he wants to tell our story through. The tech is just a canvas, and that canvas is much larger than it’s ever been before.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what Danger Close plans to paint on the gorgeous canvas that is the Frostbite 2.0 engine. Aside from providing the team with the technology to power the game, DICE is completely hands off on this project, so it will be interesting to see what kind of multiplayer Danger Close plans to cook up for this new Medal of Honor.
