Atlus Announces Permanent PSN Price Drop On Ten PSP Titles

Atlus is permanently dropping the prices of ten of their PlayStation Portable titles on the PlayStation Store.

The publisher has announced that ten of their PSP titles will receive permanent price drops on the PlayStation Store.

First, Persona and Persona 3 Portable are now priced at $19.99 (both originally $39.99), whereas Persona 2: Original Sin will now be priced at $29.99 (also originally $39.99).

Atlus is also offering games from developer Sting’s Dept Heaven collection at discounted prices. Riviera: The Promised Land and Yggdra Union will now be priced at $9.99 (both originally $14.99), whereas Knights In The Nightmare will be priced at $14.99 (originally priced at $29.99).

Also, Hexyz Force (originally $29.99), Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble (originally $39.99), Crimson Gem Saga (originally $29.99) and Class of Heroes (originally $39.99) will all be priced at $14.99.

Atlus Manager of Public Relations and Sales Aram Jabbari has said that Atlus’ understanding is that all of their PSP titles should work on Vita and that they’re looking into why some titles aren’t showing up on the PS Store on Vita. However, he did say that some users have reported success by purchasing their games on another platform, such as PS3, and then transferring the games to Vita.
