Rockstar Reveals Details About Crew Functionality In Max Payne 3’s Multiplayer

Rockstar has revealed some initial details about how crews will function in upcoming shooter Max Payne 3.

In an interview with NowGamer, Max Payne 3 Lead Multiplayer Designer Charlie Bewsher revealed details about how crews will function in the game’s online multiplayer mode.

Two types of crews exist: public and private. Private crews are created by users and their friends, are open to customization and have a limit of 250 members. Public crews are created by Rockstar and have an unlimited amount of people who can join.

Crews will be able to help their members with unspecified in-game bonuses.

The game also has factors that affect crew cooperation, which include HUD identifiers, customizable emblems on in-game equipment, dedicated crew assist-style awards, and a feud mechanic that will create feuds between crews to see which is meanest.

Crew feuds can carry over to GTAV and “beyond,” but Rockstar hasn’t revealed specifics just yet.
